The Polish Genealogical Society of New York State will host its annual Polish Genealogy & Polonia Fair on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the St. Stanislaus Adamski Social Center.
This free, public event brings together individuals and families interested in exploring their Polish roots, connecting with the local community, and celebrating the rich heritage of Polonia—with on-site dining available during the day.
Throughout the day, attendees can take advantage of free genealogy research assistance, along with surname lookups and family history displays presented by Society members. A variety of Polonia vendors and cultural exhibits will also be featured, offering resources and items related to Polish history and traditions.
At 1:00 PM local author, music historian, and presenter Rick Falkowski will present “Historic Polish People, Places and Events from Buffalo & WNY,” highlighting the cultural and musical heritage of the Polish-American community.
In addition, Barbara Noreck Ruppert of GraveFinders at St. Stan’s will be on site with a special guest table, sharing her expertise and resources.
Whether you are just beginning your family history journey or continuing years of research, the Polish Genealogy & Polonia Fair offers a welcome opportunity to learn, discover, and connect.
