As a reminder to all our members, an increase in membership dues was approved at our September members’ meeting. Dues are now $30 per year. In order to effect this change, all automatic renewals were cancelled, so that members can renew their memberships at the current rate. Members who renew automatically with PayPal should have received an email to this effect. When your membership is up for renewal, you will receive an email reminder from our Membership Chair. At that time, we invite you to renew your membership using one of the methods outlined below.
By purchasing a membership to PGSNYS you will receive our Society’s newsletter, Searchers, three times a year as well as an information packet to help you get started with your genealogy research. Your membership dollars also help support our mission to promote the study of Polish genealogy in the Western New York and Southern Ontario areas and beyond, by providing assistance to members, and preserving and sharing resources of historical significance to Polish family research in New York State.
Members receive the password to our Members-Only webpages, which offer exclusive access to on-demand viewing of our monthly presentations, the most recent issues of Searchers, lists of surnames and villages being researched by our members, and the opportunity to request appointments for individualized, member-to-member research assistance. We kindly request that you not share the password to these pages.

We offer the following options for joining the Society:
- Pay online
- Complete an application and mail it with your check or money order
- Join in person at a monthly Society meeting.
