Summary: Julie and her father Gary took a 7-day genealogical tour in June with PolishOrigins. In this presentation, Julie will give an overview of their genealogical trip, detail the highlights, and give suggestions for your own trip.
Presenter bio: Julie Wieczkowski has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Georgia, which she earned in 2003. Her research focuses on the feeding ecology and ranging of the Tana River mangabey, a critically endangered monkey found only in Kenya. After teaching for four years in Georgia, Julie was ecstatic to get a faculty position at SUNY Buffalo State, where she is an Associate Professor. She considers herself very lucky to have been able to come home to Buffalo, to be close to her family and her Buffalo Polish roots.
