The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library’s Grosvenor Room (Special Collections Department), is hosting its 2nd annual Family History Day event on May 18th from 1:00–3:30 pm at the Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square. This event is free and open to anyone interested in learning about organizations and resources that further genealogical research! The afternoon will include presentations on Buffalo’s streets and utilizing local atlases in your family history research, a “Secrets of the Stacks” tour of the Central Library, a panel discussion and Q & A with local genealogists, and tabling by local genealogy/ heritage organizations, including PGSNYS.
