We hope our members enjoyed the Winter 2025 issue of the Searchers, delivered in early December in both electronic and printed formats. This latest issue has now been uploaded to the Members Only section of the website, where members have exclusive access to the most recent five years of Searchers (15 issues total).

Those back issues of Searchers can be a valuable resource for connecting with others researching the same surnames or families. But have you ever wished for an easy way to identify which issues are relevant to your research—without paging through each one online? Google can help, if you know how to structure your search.

For example, to find references to the surname Zielinski, use the following Google search terms:

    zielinski   filetype:pdf   site:pgsnys.online

This search tells Google to look for the keyword Zielinski in all PDF files hosted on our website, pgsnys.online. Capitalization and diacritics don’t matter—searching for Zieliński will return the same results as zielinski.
