Back for 2024 by popular demand, Research Nights offer our members a chance to share their questions, insights, and discoveries with other attendees, both in person and on Zoom. Our theme for this Research Night will be DNA Cousins: Many of us have tested DNA on sites like Ancestry, 23andMe, Family Tree, and MyHeritage, and we have hundreds or even thousands of DNA matches. Have you been able to connect with any of your DNA matches to share information about your mutual ancestors? Even if you did not identify common ancestors, did you and your DNA match share a common location? Tips will be provided for working with DNA match lists, using “in common with” or shared matches, and building family trees for matches. Come prepared with your questions and your success stories!
