Thanks to all who attended our meeting on Thursday, September 12. We appreciate your flexibility and willingness to participate in our impromptu Research Night. After the close of the business meeting, we had some great discussions about current research projects, research strategies, and our geographic areas of interest.
Our September speaker, Rosanne Higgins, Ph.D., has been rescheduled for our meeting on Thursday, October 10, and we look forward to welcoming her at that time. Our previously scheduled presentation for October, “Getting Around the Language Barrier: Translation Aids for Polish Genealogy,” with Julie Roberts Szczepankiewicz, will be presented in November, and our November Research Night, with the theme “Chain Migration,” hosted by Sandra Maciejewski Porter, will be rescheduled for 2025.
Please be sure to check out our home page or our Monthly Meetings page for the latest meeting schedule.
